Manuel Sales is Head of Retail Life Insurance Supervision at the Prudential Regulation Authority, part of the Bank of England. Prior to this role, he led the domestic reform agenda in the Insurance Policy Division within the Prudential Policy Directorate from 2020. Before his time in Policy, Manuel worked for several years in the Life Actuarial Division within the Insurance Directorate, supporting the supervision of PRA-regulated firms. Manuel joined the FSA/PRA in 2009, having previously worked at Towers Perrin and Oliver Wyman.
