Dominic Cashman is Director of Authorisations at the FCA, where his remit includes the newly created Mutual Societies Development Unit.

Before being appointed to this role as Director of Authorisations at the FCA in April 2022, Dominic was Director of Integration and Transformation, and interim Group Head of Operations at TP ICAP plc, the world’s largest inter-dealer broker. He was responsible for the integration of Tullett Prebon and the broking business of ICAP following their merger in 2017. 

Dominic was also, briefly, an independent consultant advising a crypto-asset and payments firm on regulatory and governance issues.

Previously he was Head of Regulatory Operations and regional Chief Administrative Officer at Nomura International plc, where was particularly focussed on using process and technology to enhance governance and reduce non-financial risks.
