Paul is Commercial Director at Health Shield and Chief Executive of two of its subsidiary businesses: one providing health and wellbeing services and the other operating as an insurance brokerage. A Chartered Director with nearly two decades of board-level experience in regulated financial services and insurance organisations, he has built his career in the mutual sector and is a strong advocate of ethical, sustainable and purpose-led business.

Before joining Health Shield, Paul spent twelve years with Westfield Health, where he held the role of Executive Director responsible for sales and marketing and also served as Managing Director of its subsidiary, UK Healthcare.

Earlier in his career, Paul spent seven years with the international health insurer Cigna, specialising in global banking partnerships, following ten years with Barclays, where he progressed to become Area Manager for Barclays Private Clients, Wealth Management.
