Starting my career with a global financial services organisation over 30 years ago I have 20 years’ experience specialising in Learning & Development across all business areas including non for profit and public sector having worked for the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, Gloucestershire College, Royal Caribbean Cruises and most recently a workwear distributor.

I became a freelance consultant in January 2020 when I created P’doiiing Training.

More recently I have been supporting SeaSalt clothing in Cornwall with the restructuring of their induction programme and am also coaching several managers within Nottinghamshire YMCA to enhance their performance.

As well as my own clients I am an associate of HR Champions, delivering a range of accredited programmes from Level 2 to Level 5.

I have created learning functions from scratch, managing training budgets of £250,000, worked with key stakeholders to develop bespoke learning programmes in areas such as induction, first line management and lunchtime learning sessions in subjects such as personal resilience and mental health awareness. I have a huge passion for creating fun, innovative and engaging learning solutions.

I have developed and delivered numerous programmes and short ½ day workshops in all of the above areas as well as working on more bespoke support and mentoring for individuals in management roles.

I have supported Cirencester Friendly Society with their learning and development over the past 2 years and have created bespoke learning solutions in areas including, resilience, GDPR awareness, Customer Service, as well as creating 2 ½ day workshops in raising FCA Awareness complete with online assessment.

Most recently I have supported the Society with the introduction of a new performance management system and am midway through delivering a modular management development programme supporting new and existing managers to develop their leadership skills.
