Nick Woodward is responsible for RLAM’s Investment Solutions business and is the outsourced CIO for a number of insurers.

Nick works with institutional investors in developing customised investment frameworks and strategies, including allowing for regulatory drivers such as SCR, reporting and wider Solvency balance sheet considerations. Most recently Nick has been helping in the development and enhancement of Matching Adjustment portfolios.

Nick joined in July 2016 from BMO where he was a Director in LDI Structuring and prior to that KPMG where he developed their in-house asset-liability modelling capabilities.

Nick began his career with a large actuarial consultancy leaving in 2006 to become a founding team member for Paternoster, the specialist buy-out provider. Following this he gained experience in the banking sector working for Deutsche Bank in the complex life and pensions team. Nick is a qualified actuary with a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Warwick University.
